Draytek Vigor 130 (V130)

Overview

The DrayTek Vigor 130 is a VDSL2 and ADSL modem with an Ethernet connection; it is not a router but a true ADSL/VDSL Ethernet Modem (bridge). It provides proven compatibility with UK VDSL2 and ADSL technologies; extensively tested and tuned to provide a robust and reliable DSL connection.

By providing a direct bridge between the DSL connection and Ethernet, the connected device (firewall, router or PC) can log into the Internet (your ISP) directly and have full control over the Internet connection - that makes the Vigor 130 a unique product.

You can add VDSL2 and ADSL connectivity to any Ethernet-WAN router simply by connecting up the DrayTek Vigor 130 modem.

Draytek Vigor 2862 (2862)

Overview

The Vigor 2862 supports ADSL or VDSL. Alternative WAN ports can instead provide connectivity to Ethernet feeds, secondary xDSL modems or a 3G/4G cellular service using a supported USB adapter.

Multiple LAN feeds can be combined for failover or load-balancing. Support for other professional features such as VLAN tagging, QoS (Quality of Service Assurance), High Availability, DNS Filter, Policy Based Routing, and User Access Control are all included as standard.

Hotspot features with customisable branding and wording can be applied to guest network VLANs & SSIDs. If you deploy DrayTek Wireless Access Points, this unit can act as the Central Management controller.

5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch on the LAN side provides high speed connectivity for servers, other local PCs or for uplink to a larger Ethernet switch. (Gigabit WAN2 is switchable with LAN Port 5*)

Comprehensive security features include content filtering, web application controls and an object based firewall management system.

We think Draytek's products balance ease of use, security and feature more successfully than any other manufacturer we've seen.
