Overview

The Vigor 2862VAC supports ADSL or VDSL. Alternative WAN ports can instead provide connectivity to Ethernet feeds, secondary xDSL modems or a 3G/4G cellular service using the built-in SIM card slot. Multiple LAN feeds can be combined for failover or load-balancing.

Support for other professional features such as VLAN tagging, QoS (Quality of Service Assurance), High Availability, DNS Filter, Policy Based Routing, and User Access Control are all included as standard. Hotspot features with customisable branding and wording can be applied to guest network VLANs & SSIDs. If you deploy DrayTek Wireless Access Points, this unit can act as the Central Management controller, or as an access point itself with it's 802.11ac mesh capability.

5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch on the LAN side provides high speed connectivity for servers, other local PCs or for uplink to a larger Ethernet switch. (Gigabit WAN2 is switchable with LAN Port 5*)

2 PSTN Telephone (FXS) ports mean analogue devices can be used with SIP trunks (we offer free SIP trunks by the way).

Comprehensive security features include content filtering, web application controls and an object based firewall management system.
